Progression
Every year builds on the skills of the previous one
Instead of restarting the curriculum, students return to the same areas at a higher level.
Level names describe how students work in a given year. Detailed learning outcomes are part of the curriculum document.

Algorithms
Thinking in steps
Students write down a sequence of actions and check what changes when one step changes.
Increasingly complex problems
Loops, conditions and flowcharts appear, and tasks span several stages.
Implementation
Students turn an algorithm into code, test it and compare different solutions to the same problem.
Independent use
The algorithm becomes a tool in a final project the student runs and presents alone.
