Foundations

Students learn the basic concepts of computer science and start thinking in steps — from an instruction to a simple algorithm.

Every year builds on the skills of the previous one

Grade 4

Thinking in steps

Students write down a sequence of actions and check what changes when one step changes.

Grades 5-6

Increasingly complex problems

Loops, conditions and flowcharts appear, and tasks span several stages.

Grade 7

Implementation

Students turn an algorithm into code, test it and compare different solutions to the same problem.

Grade 8

Independent use

The algorithm becomes a tool in a final project the student runs and presents alone.
